Prince Chazza was the sensitive heir apparent to the throne on the world Gazza. His brother Rando was more warlike and mocked Chazza’s habits of talking to flowers and making trips to the planet Gnulp to consult a personal guru. Rando hatched a plan to steal the throne by hiring Khund pirates to waylay the starliner that Chazza was flying en route to Gnulp. Luckily, Chazza escaped with the help of a stowaway named Bob, the Galactic Bum.

Created by British writers Alan Grant and John Wagner, Bob, the Galactic Bum, is a teetotaling hobo who resembles nothing so much as an intergalactic W.C. Fields. He has spent his life hitching rides from one end of the galaxy to the other. Now, he and his terse traveling companion Buck find themselves in the care of a foppish alien prince whom it seems everyone is trying to kill. Even Lobo, the brawling bounty hunter gets drawn into the action as he searches for the missing prince.
