I'm running ComicBase Pro 17. My Windows 10 desktop icon has suddenly gone generic. Any way to get this set back to the customized version? I don't know how to upload an image to this forum, or I would show you what I mean

Thank you very much. I've learned a new trick today.

It appears the link in the shortcut to the executable file is having problems.
Find the executable program for ComicBase.
My Archive Edition name is:
ComicBase 2017 Archive Edition.exe.
My file location is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Human Computing\ComicBase 2017 Archive Edition
Yours may be Pro or Professional in the Path / Name.
If you can find it, Right Click and hold on the executable file, Drag to your Desktop and release the mouse button. Select Create Shortcut from the pop-up menu.
If this works (and it starts CB), you can delete the other Shortcut (the generic one) and rename the new Shortcut to remove 'Shortcut' from the name.
Alternately, you can try to:
Right Click on the shortcut and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
Check the Target box. It should contain the path and filename for the CB executable.
If it does, click on the Change Icon button.
If you get a list of icons, select the one you want and click OK.
If you don't get a list, click Browse and navigate to the path, then single click on the executable. Click Open.
You should now have a list of icons. Select one.
If the Target box (path and executable filename) and the Start In box (path only) are correct, it should work.
