What to do if you Have a Problem


It’sIt’s a drag for everyone when something goes wrong, but don’t fret: there are lots of safeguards built into Atomic Avenue to help both buyers and sellers feel secure. That doesn’t mean everything will go perfectly every time, so that said, here’s what to do if you have a problem.

If you receive an item and you’re unhappy with it (for instance, you don’t think it was accurately graded), the easiest way to resolve the matter is to contact the seller by clicking the “Problem with this order?” button found on he order detail page (look under My Account, then click the order number in question).  Sellers may  be reached either by phone (if one is listed) or by email.

If you are unable to reach the seller, or if the seller does not work out a solution your problem, you can also contact Atomic Avenue for help, using the same button.

If you need to arrange a return with a seller, be sure to package the comic securely. We highly recommend some form of delivery confirmation so you have proof of the return. The buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping the comic back to the Seller.

Although it’s never fun to have to accept a return, we encourage sellers to be open and reasonable in their return policies. It’s best to be accommodating to the buyer who is unhappy with their purchase. As a practical matter, as long as you’re careful with grading and shipping, you won’t have much trouble. The comic will almost certainly sell to another buyer if returned and relisted accurately. You will be informed of any pending returns and the reasons for a return. Once you receive a comic back, you are required to refund the price the buyer paid via PayPal (less shipping).

As for buyers, it is a drag to not get what you expected, or not to get it at all. We encourage you to leave accurate feedback about your transactions, so other buyers will know what to expect. In the rare case that where the seller is unable or unwilling to help you, or unresponsive, you should contact f="#" onclick="o='@';o='support'+o;o='mailto:'+o;o+='atomicavenue.com';this.href=o;"> so we can make sure the situation gets resolved.

If you are a buyer, also be aware that you are protected from the possibility of fraud both by Atomic Avenue’s strict policies and PayPal’s safeguards. As an additional measure of protection, we encourage you to use the credit card option for PayPal transactions, which will let you contact your credit card company to resolve the dispute and charge back the transaction, if necessary.
