Rules for Sellers

Selling your comics on Atomic Avenue is far less complicated than other systems. Posting, or revising your postings is little more than clicking a button, and when you receive an order, you’ve already been paid, so you don’t have to hunt down payment. Once the order has been placed, however, it falls on you to deliver to the buyer what he has bought. In order to continue selling on Atomic Avenue, we require all our sellers to abide by the following rules:

1. All items must be as specified in your listing and accurately graded. Buyers have the right to return items not in the specified condition, so make sure each comic that ships is in the specified condition. The Atomic Avenue site includes a Comic Book Grading Guide and a Grading Wizard to help you with grading. If you don’t have time to review near-new comics for miniscule defects, we recommend you use the List VF and NM comics as condition “VF-NM” option in selling. If you have comics that would need to be individually graded, and you don’t have the time to do so, you may also sell your comics as ungraded. To do so, select (question-how do you do this within ComicBase, or do I point them to something in ComicBase.)
2. Purchases must be shipped out within 2 business days of the order. Check your email frequently, as well as your account screen when using the system. We include enough in the shipping cost to cover the cost of delivery confirmation or tracking, so take advantage of this so both you and the buyer can be assured of the shipment’s progress.
3. Ship all items in a way that they will arrive in the same condition they were shipped in. Package all orders in a hard surface box. When appropriate, use comic bags and backing boards.
4. Ship items via the method specified by the buyer.
5. Be as accommodating as you can in accepting returns. Whether or not the problem was your fault, it’ll be easier to resell a comic than it will be to placate a buyer who is unhappy with his purchase. If you do run across a particularly problematic buyer, you may always reject future business from him when processing his return.

We want to make Atomic Avenue a safe place for buyers and sellers. While we understand problems happen, if we receive a great number of legitimate complaints about you, or if you receive a rating of -3 in feedback, we will remove your items from sale.
