I've been reading and collecting comics since the age of 7. Hard to believe that, at that time, most comics cost a dime. 51 years later, I find it's time to sell off most of my collection.
Had to have major surgery in Jan of 2007. Complications due to diabetes. Had a severe heart attack on the way to the hospital, where my right leg, from the knee down was removed. Now, the only chair I use has four wheels and is bitch to get around in. Can't walk with one and a half legs. Stairs are not possible right now. And not having medical insurance during all this means the medical bills are over 300K. So its time to sell of "my babies", and make them available to other fine folks.
Most of the collection is Marvel, DC, some Gold Key, Valiant, Dark Horse, and some stranger than normal stuff. One that was printed in Japan. LOTS of Spiderman, X-men, Superman. Some Shadow, a couple of Doc Savage, Magnus, the Warlord. All fiction, scifi, and fantasy.
