Hawk and Dove (3rd Series)

Long ago, Hank Hall and his little brother Don were chosen as instruments of justice by an unseen force. Simply by saying the words “Hawk” and “Dove,” each would become transformed into the respective super-heroes. Hank (Hawk) was ever the aggressive type, charging into battle without a moment’s thought. Don (Dove) was more thoughtful. Sadly, Don was eventually killed in the line of action.

As this new series begins, Hank has a new partner in Dawn, filling the role of Dove. Dawn uses her athletic abilities and intelligence to win victory when Hank’s direct approach proves insufficient. They played similar roles when out of costume, providing for an interesting round of personality clashes.

After the end of this series in 1991, a future version Hawk was revealed as the villain Monarch in Armageddon 2001.
