Another of DC’s Archives series of reprints shows us the beginnings of Diane Lance, florist by day, fishnet stockings and karate kicks at night when she dons the wig and leather of the Black Canary. Volume one collects all the Black Canary stories chronicled in Flash Comics from her first appearance in issue #86 until the title ended in February 1949, then throws in a few appearances from later in the 1970s and 1980s.
