The title began life as the bigfoot series The Happy Houlihans. As the E.C. line shifted and changed to find its spot in the marketplace, it kept the numbering but radically changed title and contents of its later-designated “Pre-Trend” titles. After six issues, it shifted gears slightly, taking the title Saddle Romances.
