Limited print runs, black and white illustrations, and crude artwork make up Project: Dark Matter. Packaging each issue as a “two stories in a one” book, the first half of each issue follows Paul Derek, an ardent military man whose life was forever changed the day he encountered the Matter Transference Beam. Transforming into the living embodiment of the elusive substance Dark Matter, Derek now fights to save the solar system from forces beyond the comprehension of human consciousness. Each issue’s second half tells the story of an urban super-hero, Fishbone, who fights to keep the streets of his community crime free. With the ability to shape and control bone-like armor, Fishbone takes his comical brand of justice to the streets.
