Radioactive Man is the comic book series that Bart Simpson and his friends read in The Simpsons. In fact, in one episode, Bart and his pals pool their money in order to purchase a copy of the legendary and rare first issue. When Bongo decided to enter into the comic book publishing field, Radioactive Man was a natural title.

But instead of publishing numerically, the numbering in this series jumps around to parody famous issues of comics from different decades and publishers. With this 80-page Colossal, Bongo makes fun of the numerous 80-page Giants published by DC during the 1960s, even parodying some of the ads that would have appeared at the time. Fun for knowing comic fans and Simpsons fans in general.
