Graphic novel; Read right to left; b&w.

Mimori is finally going to high school (with the school uniform) of her dreams and [on her first day], befriends the pretty Nana. But then sheís chosen class representative and meets Atushi, a good-looking guy she knew from grade school who loathes her him and swears revenge. Of course, Mimori has absolutely no memory of what heís talking about.

This has a generic title that makes f a perfect match for the premise of this ordinary high-school manga that gives the reader precious little in the way of either romance or comedy. The characters are tissue-paper thin and thereís isnít enough plot to sustain even the first volume. When dealing with material this predictable, you should at least be able to give the proceedings some flair, but thatís sadly not the case. The storytelling is awkward, the panels arranged oddly askew, and the art sparse. The only positive thing I can say about Tokyo Boys and Girls is that I liked the cover; itís got an eye-catching design and attractive color scheme.
