You may suspend your listings temporarily by checking the On Vacation box in their Profile (My Account > Profile). When your account is marked as on vacation, your listings remain visible, but can not be placed in a buyer's cart.
We're updating our policy to limit the length of time a seller may be on vacation to 60 days. Any accounts which have been marked as on vacation for longer than 60 days will have their inventory delisted.
If you will be taking a break from Atomic Avenue for more than 60 days, please remove your inventory by going to My Account > Inventory and clicking the remove button. When you return, you can upload your current inventory to your account via ComicBase.
Note that the removal of your inventory from Atomic Avenue will not affect your seller rank or rating. |

Some sellers use Atomic Avenue as an online inventory system for other sales venues. Will there be any effort to prevent them from relisting after the 60 limit has been hit and their inventory removed? And still be on vacation?
Such an inventory delisting should result in a demerit, of which 3 would result in a ban. |

Unless you have evidence that somebody is using AA listings to facilitate sales of the same inventory off-site, an inventory de-listing shouldn't result in a demerit. Just b/c somebody is on vacation for a long time, one shouldn't automatically assume that there is something nefarious going on. |

| I agree that one should have evidence before making an accusation. Such evidence was quite easy to find. The demerit I recommend could be avoided by doing as cj suggested in the original post. |

For example, see http://www.zanaducomics.com/buy-from-zanadu/
This web page instructs the buyer to use AtomicAvenue to shop, and then to send a list of comics they want to purchase to the site. Is that nefarious? |

I have no problem with sellers receiving demerits (or worse) for violating AA's terms of use. Certainly zanadu fits that definition.
But the mere fact that an AA seller is on vacation for more than 60 days in the absence of any other evidence shouldn't be cause for demerits. (And, to be clear, I have no problems with the new delisting policy either.) |
