I have just purchased three books off of eBay titled "Marvel Mix-Tape". They feature previews, and complete issues, of upcoming titles. They all say "Convention Edition" in the red box that marvel usually uses to list "Variant Edition" and on the inside front cover it mentions which show the issue was for.
The First one (From San Diego Comic-Con) has:
FF #1 (Full Issue)
Captain America #1 (Preview)
Daredevil #1 (Preview)
X-Men:Schism #1 (Preview)
Ultimate Comics: Ultimates #1 (Preview)
Indicia says "Marvel Mix-Tape SDCC 2011 No. 1" and "Manufactured between 6/10/2011 and 6/27/2011 by Imprimeriesi Transcontinental S.E.N.C., Beauceville, Quebec, Canada"
The Second one (From New York Comic-Con) has:
Avengers: X-Sanction #1 (Preview)
Fear Itself: The Fearless #1 (Preview)
Uncanny X-Men #1 (Preview)
Wolverine and The X-Men #1 (Preview)
The Incredible Hulk #1 (Preview)
Indicia says "Marvel Mix-Tape NYCC 2011 No. 1" and "Manufactured between 9/23/2011 and 10/04/2011 by Quad/Graphics Jonesboro, Jonesboro, AR, USA"
The Third one (No specific convention listed but says issue #1 on the cover as well as actually having the title "Marvel Mix-Tape") has:
Fear Itself #1 (Preview)
Herc #1 (Preview)
FF #1 (Preview)
Venom #1 (Preview)
X-Men: Legacy #245 (Full Issue)
Indicia says "Mix-Tape No. 1, May 2011" and "Manufactured between 2/18/2011 and 2/28/2011 by Imprimeriesi Transcontinental S.E.N.C., Beauceville, Quebec, Canada"
How would you like me to submit these? Would you like them under a title of "Marvel Mix-Tape" with issue numbers going by date? |

Hi Mark,
Two of the issues that are on Lonestar, the 2011 issues, are the ones that I am referring to and none of them have the individual convention logo on the cover. The shows are only listed on the inside front cover and in the indicia. |
