I just received my mail order delivery of this weeks trades. (I order those online as I get a much better price.)
I saw that the Infinite Crisis Omnibus was shipping this week so i was really salivating for it to show up here at home. I had made a nice slot on my Crisis Bookshelf for the collection. However I have no idea how I kept thinking it only needed the same space that most Absolute books take up.
Then I opened the box. It's the Omnibus stupid, not the Absolute! Now I have done my weeks weight lifting by carrying the book to the library (fancy name for my Comic Book/Computer room) to read. (All 1152 pages.)
I've read comics for 45 years, and worked a a comic dealer/store employee for 35. You'd think I would know what I ordered, especially since the retail is $150.00!
Let this be a warning to all of you out there in Comic Fandomland.
Make sure you remember what you ordered or much like me you will be suffering a Comic-Hernia, and have to rearrange you bookshelf after you'd worked hard already!
