Anyone getting this error when they go to select 'Preferences'?

I get that error then when I hit okay it shuts down the whole program.

Just wondering if I'm the only one with that problem.

I don't have any problem with preferences but I am on WinXP SP3. With your much nicer windows, I am assuming you are on Vista.

PS I haven't changed my signature yet but I am running V12.1 d8.

I'm not getting that here with Vista/d8.

Still getting this bug/error/crash and I forgot to mention it also puts a folder called 'False' on my desktop and backs up my Database to there! Weird.

Have you tried to reset your preferences under the File Tools options? If that doesn't work, maybe deleting the .ini file will.

hope that helps...

I had the exact same problem as Gregg. I reset my preferences under the File Tools options like Jeff suggested and it worked also!
