Judge Dredd: Bad Science
(Fleetway Quality, 1990)

Judge Dredd, the popular hero of Great Britain’s 2000 A.D. magazine, is judge, jury, and executioner in a dystopian future where rampant crime is the order of the day. To combat the forces of evil, Judge Dredd—one of many “judges”—has been given wide-ranging and far-reaching powers to dispense justice in the streets of the sprawling Mega-City One, in order to hit crime where it lives.
But in this graphic album, the criminals have the powers of science at their disposal, and it’s up to the man who is the living embodiment of the highest principles of the Justice Department to bring down the lawbreakers who have used science to achieve their evil ends. It’s up to Dredd to take on the devolved ape-people, the raging lizard-creatures, the weather controllers, and the zombie-makers.
